Haggle.com is another site that allows you to pay for bids and bid on items at an extremely low price. They also explain how this process works and why they are able to sell these items for much cheaper than retail price. Here are the basic rules:
•Pre-purchase your bids in packs of 20, 40, 75, 150, 300 or 600
•Bid for the opportunity to buy electronics and gift cards at a fraction of their retail cost
•Each bid placed adds more time to the auction and increases the item's final purchase price
•Be the highest bidder when the auction ends and the item is yours to buy at the final auction price
